Matrix® Protein Peppermint Bark

Ingredients:

    • -38g Matrix® Milk Chocolate protein powder
    • -1/2 crushed candy cane
    • -115g microwavable melting chocolate
    • -3-4 drops peppermint extract

Microwave 115g of microwavable melting chocolate for 30 seconds at a time. Be sure to stir it at the end of every 30-second interval. Repeat this process until chocolate is completely melted with a smooth consistency.

Stir in 38g of Matrix® Milk Chocolate protein to the melted chocolate. During this step, the mixture will become thick and the protein will be noticeable in the chocolate. If you are making larger portions, add 38g (approx. 1 scoop) of Matrix® Milk Chocolate protein to every 100g of chocolate.

Stir in 3-4 drops of peppermint extract. Additional peppermint extract can be added to taste.

Pour mixture onto an aluminum foil covered tray. Spread mixture to desired size and thickness.

Crush half of a candy cane in a small bag and sprinkle onto the bark.

Freeze for at least 10 minutes. After freezing, break the peppermint bark apart and enjoy!
